Sustainable Energy
THE APPROACHES FOLLOWED BY THE GÎTE TO LIMIT ITS ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
It had become important to undertake the first work to bring this house out of the thermal sieve. The renovation of the windows and shutters, the replacement of the door and the entrance frame quickly proved essential but not sufficient to lower the DPE (energy performance diagnosis)
External Thermal Insulation (ITE)

It was necessary to resolve to undertake larger works to significantly reduce this DPE. We undertake the insulation of the walls from the outside with the ITE process, expanded polystyrene sheets spliced and glued to the exterior walls. This is followed by the installation of a frame and several sealants for the final result.
The result meets expectations in terms of aesthetics and energy efficiency.
To gain a few points in comfort for our visitors and also in energy management for the owner, photovoltaic panels are installed for self-consumption, a gas condensing boiler has been installed as well as a thermodynamic tank for the production of the Hot water.
The final result is our last acceptable DPE but still perfectible.
